A Small Voice in a Shouting World

About a year before the Lord released me from the dark, mind dungeon of demonic affliction, the Holy Spirit was alerting me to chain mail. I had no idea what it meant, but it was popping up everywhere around me. I understood that it was armour in the medieval era and I also understood that God was trying to tell me something. I did not know anything about Christians being tormented by demonic affliction at the time. I thought the unhappiness and mental anguish of stress, anxiety, fears and frustrations were my own thoughts. Regardless, I was fully aware that Satan was at work in this world and God had let me know in ways too difficult to explain here that this chain mail was associated with Satan.

Now, here I am today, set free and on to a new phase of the battle. That phase is maintaining my freedom from the demonic attempts to return and helping others to break free from the “strongman” and be released to the arms of Christ. Yes, the battle of a Christian is ongoing, just like when the people of Israel were released from Egypt, they still had battles even after they crossed into the Promised Land. We must maintain our freedom. We must continue to wear our armour of God and be alert and in agreement with the truths of the Bible where it warns us to be aware and on guard of the devil who hates us and seeks to steal, kill and destroy anything that God loves.

Now, let’s go back to chain mail. Recently, in my study and prayer time with God, I read Exodus 15, the AMPC version. In verse 5 it says, “The floods cover them; they sank in the depths [clad in mail] like stone.” Suddenly, I received revelation. I invite you to read my journal:

Chain mail: The enemy wears? Their defense clothes are the very thing that causes them to sink and be defeated fast. Is the chain mail representative of the person the demons are afflicting? The person they are afflicting when drenched by the Living Water or The Word, is that what causes the demons to sink and be destroyed? Chain mail is effective armour but becomes so heavy in water that it is fatal. Thank You Jesus. This message is confirmation of The Word’s power and strength against the enemy.

Now that I am an overcomer with Christ, I know that my freedom in Christ from the enemy’s clutches was obtained mainly by reading and applying The Bible to my life. The Holy Spirit taught me to write down scriptures He gave me and pray them out loud or in my mind daily. He also gave me instructions to start teaching what the Lord taught me from the Bible. Hence, I created a You Tube account called Freedom Navigator in order to share what God was teaching me in The Word. The Word is powerful. It is our sword against the enemy.

I realized in this revelation, that a demon uses the person it is afflicting as protection. The person who is being tormented and who refuses to believe that a Christian can be afflicted, is the perfect shield for the demons. They use that person’s thoughts and emotions to influence the Christian or unbeliever to speak things in agreement with Satan instead of speaking the Holy Scriptures which is in agreement with Jesus. When we respond to situations by speaking and reacting in agreement to Satan, then we are strengthening the enemy’s position and protecting their position in our lives. We must not allow this to happen! Instead, we must become so saturated in the Word that we become heavily drenched with The Truth and then the demons must flee. Obeying the Word and speaking the Truth of the Word is resisting Satan and so, it is written, he must flee, or rather, sink and be destroyed from operating in our lives.

Please pray and ask the Holy Spirit to give you clear meaning on this subject. Ask Him to tell you what you need to do to have joy and peace and all the fruit of the Spirit.

Dear Father in Heaven, I pray that this explanation can illustrate the effective power of Your Word. I pray that those in the Body of Christ who are afflicted by Satan and his minions will be brought into the Light and see what You would have them see so they can be free to function like You made them to function for Your purpose. In the wonderful name of Jesus.
