Because your heart is set on Him…

Psalm 91

The Lord says: “Because he has his heart set on me, I will deliver him. I will protect him because he knows my name. When he calls out to me I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will rescue him and give him honour. I will satisfy him with a long life and show him my salvation.”

We now have to figure out what does it look like in our daily life to have our hearts set on Him? What does it mean to really know His name? If we really know His name, we have confidence in who He is and our doubts and fears are removed. The more we spend time with Him, the more confidence we have in Him. Spending time in the Word, will chase out the darkness.

How badly do we want to be well? How desperate are we to be healed? How determined are we to be set free of demonic affliction, i.e., worry, anxiety, fears, anger, bitterness, pride, self-pity, despair? How greatly do we want to be free of demonic oppression and curses? We will find the answer to these questions when we evaluate how much time we are spending with God and the Bible.

Read Psalm 1:1-3: How happy is the one who does not walk in the advice of the wicked or stand in the pathway with sinners or sit in the company of mockers! Instead, his delight is in the Lord’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night. He is like a tree planted beside flowing streams that bears its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

That scripture is a beautiful promise from our perfect Father, the King of all Kings, that if we meditate on the Word, we will be blessed! I know from experience, the Bible is true! God is faithful beyond measure!

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You, Jesus, for Your Word. I once heard from Your servant, Charles Stanley, that the Bible through the Holy Spirit, will transform your life. How right he was! Thank you, God, for allowing my suffering that pulled me to Your Word, that transformed my life. I have been set free! Who the Son has set free, he is free indeed …and indeed I am free! I thank You for teaching me how to maintain my freedom and combat the enemy and all the evil ones. Let the name of the Lord be blessed from the rising of the sun until it sets. Let the name of the Lord be praised! I praise Your Name, Jesus!

*Happy is the one who endures testing, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love Him. James 1:12

*Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded! (James 4:8)

Cleansing your hands and purifying your hearts sets you free and you enter into the blessings of Abraham and out from under the curse. This verse is true, I’ve been through it and now I reach new heights every day, overcoming the obstacles with the training from the Lord. How much I want others to experience what I’ve experienced! The law (Word) of the Lord is right giving joy to the heart!
